New funeral plan regulatons - From 29 July 2022, all UK funeral plan providers will be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to sell or carry out funeral plans. We are pleased to share that our application is underway with the FCA and has been categorised as "intending to authorise".
We are actively engaging with the FCA on an ongoing basis throughout this application stage and fully support the new regulation framework implementation across the funeral industry. To reassure all our existing clients, any funeral plans purchased before 29 July 2022, will also benefit from the new FCA regulations and protections that will be taking affect.
